Marinel graduated with a Bachelor of Business and Engineering (Honours) with a major in economics and civil engineering from the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in August 2023.

With an interest in traffic and transport engineering, Marinel has been involved in a range of projects in both the public and private sectors ranging from Traffic Impact Assessments to Road Safety Assessments across Australia.
