Working directly with the Gold Coast local government, PSA Consulting undertakes ‘sprint analysis’ projects to improve the movement of people and goods throughout the region.
To determine the operating conditions of various intersections across the Gold Coast, each sprint involves analysing the following over two weeks:
- Vehicle turning movement volumes,
- Traffic signal timing, and
- Vehicle travel time data.
Depending on the project, these analyses inform potential future infrastructure upgrades or signal phasing changes. They may also contribute to an overall benefits analysis after a recent upgrade.
