PSA Consulting has undertaken several traffic impact assessments (TIA) for local schools and Queensland’s Department of Education, focusing on active and public transport movements surrounding schools.
The TIAs included:
- Reporting on the safety of roads and intersections based on use patterns in school areas,
- Addressing traffic matters with relevant local and regional councils, and
- Meeting technical guidance as per Planning for Safe Transport Infrastructure at Schools and Guide to Traffic Impact Assessments.
Given the importance of child safety, PSA ensured that these TIAs provided clear, up-front advice – supporting informed decision-making around each development or upgrade.
