PSA Consulting helped Baiada secure approval for their major Integrated Poultry Processing Facility in Tamworth. The proposal required the preparation of a State Significant Development Application due to the project’s scale and value.
The state-of-the-art facility will be one of the largest in the southern hemisphere. At full operation, it will process up to 3 million chickens per week – to meet the demand for poultry products in Australia.
As part of the approvals process, PSA also:
- Engaged directly with key government and community stakeholders,
- Prepared an environmental impact statement (EIS), and
- Worked with specialists to facilitate the application, including for noise and odour impact assessments.
