As a trusted partner of local governments, PSA Consulting has developed several multi-modal transport plans across Queensland. By preparing bespoke vision, objectives, goals and actions, PSA has enabled more accessible and integrated transport systems that achieve council priorities.
This has included:
- Redlands Coast Transport Strategy,
- Way2Go: Connecting Logan (Integrated Local Transport Plan),
- Mackay Regional Integrated Transport Strategy,
- South East Queensland Regional Transport PlansÂ
- Fitzroy Regional Transport PlanÂ
- Wide Bay Burnett Regional Transport Plan, and
- Mackay Isaac Whitsunday Regional Transport Plan.
Each plan sets a framework for transport investment and advocacy over the next twenty years – responding to the unique circumstances, issues and opportunities in their Local Government Areas. PSA supported extensive consultation on each plan – including community workshops, online surveys, forums and pop-up consultation sessions.
From providing in-house project management and transport planning support to providing technical leadership the PSA team has been closely involved in the development, delivery and review of Regional Transport Plans (RTPs) across Queensland since 2019. We apply our in-depth knowledge of the current challenges facing the transport planning task across all modes in regions across Queensland. This knowledge and understanding, together with awareness of the trends, technologies and events influencing the transport system enables our project team to identify opportunities and leverage these in the policy development and transport planning tasks. This work has required a comprehensive approach to stakeholder engagement, facilitating engagement with various stakeholders as part of a robust governance structure and project methodology.Â
