Overview

Commissioned by Queensland Treasury’s City Transformation Taskforce, PSA Infrastructure developed the Growth Area Infrastructure Compact (GAIC) concept – one of six priority areas under housing and planning in the South East Queensland City Deal.

To complete infrastructure delivery by 2027, the compact’s framework:

  • Brings together infrastructure, utility and service providers across government,
  • Coordinates and aligns the planning and sequencing of infrastructure and services, and
  • Targets major expansion and consolidation growth areas to support the delivery of affordable housing options.

A collaboration across state, federal and local government, the $210 million commitment will support critical infrastructure in Caboolture West.
