PSA Consulting was engaged by the Rail and Passenger Transport Technical Advice (RAPTTA) team within TMR to undertake technical assessments for Development Assessment and compliance purposes against the State Development Assessment Provisions (SDAP) and relevant guidelines, codes and design standards related to transport infrastructure and networks. Detailed technical analysis encompassed the review of engineering and architectural design drawings.
Liaison with internal stakeholders was undertaken as required to attain necessary inputs to ensure comprehensive technical advice was provided. Technical assessment relate to State interests in transport such as safe transport infrastructure for schools, public passenger transport (urban buses, school buses, taxis), active transport (pedestrians, cyclists), disability access compliance, and corridor protection for railways, busways, state-controlled transport tunnels and future railway and busway corridors.
