Ali is a Principal Traffic and Transport Engineer and Transport Modeller with a broad range of experience in both academia and practice in technically demanding environments. Ali has completed a PhD in Transport Engineering and is an expert in data preparation, data analysis, scripting, and advanced statistical models. He is also a registered National Engineer in Australia (NER) and a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ), demonstrating his commitment to professional excellence.

Ali completed a master’s degree in Engineering Management, which enhanced his project management skills and advanced his ability to manage significant engineering projects across a wide range of engineering applications. Ali had experience managing capital works projects in the Northern Territory as a program manager, overseeing more than $400 million in funding from both Commonwealth and state governments.
