PSA Consulting were engaged to assist Scenic Rim Regional Council in preparing the Scenic Rim Growth Management Strategy (SRGMS), which addresses a contemporary policy position for management of growth within the Scenic Rim region.
The development of the GMS will assist in facilitating the achievement of Scenic Rim Regional Council’s dwelling and employment targets as provided for by the South East Queensland Regional Plan 2017 (ShapingSEQ) and considers the opportunities, need, risks and costs of delivering dwellings and jobs within its growth areas.
The Scenic Rim Growth Management Strategy was adopted at the end of 2022 and was the recipient of the 2022 Queensland PIA Planning Award for Excellence for a Strategic Planning Project.
