PSA Consulting put together a comprehensive master plan to guide the planning, development and operation of Beenleigh’s transport system over the next ten years. A key objective was to consolidate several years of land use and transport planning undertaken by both state and local governments to provide clarity to all agencies and the community.
The project included:
- Review of current policy, land uses, demographics and multi-modal transport situations,
- Application of the Movement and Place framework to the road network,
- Preparation of an agreed vision and objectives,
- Generation and evaluation of options,
- Development of an Action Plan, and
- Preparation of a succinct public-facing Master Plan.
This involved facilitating technical working groups and direct engagement with key stakeholders – such as the Department of Transport and Main Roads, the Department of Communities, Housing and Digital Economy and the Logan City Council.
