The Hills District Community Place ITA & Feasibility Assessment

PSA Consulting (PSA) was commissioned by Engeny Australia Pty Ltd (Engeny) to prepare a Traffic Impact Assessment (TIA) to support the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Northern Silica Project (NSP), located within Mining Lease Application (MLA) 100308, in the Hope Vale Aboriginal Shire Council (HVASC) Local Government Area (LGA). The assessment involved a detailed multi-criteria analysis of proposed route options, projections for development traffic distribution, and an evaluation of the anticipated impacts on traffic and pavement conditions across the surrounding road network throughout the mine’s operational lifespan. Additionally, a road safety and site access assessment was conducted, resulting in the development of a Traffic, Pavement, and Site Access Management Plan. This plan, along with recommended road safety measures, addresses the identified issues and ensures the long-term sustainability of the transport network.
